This tiny black seed is oil-rich, very nutritious, and loved by goldfinches, green finches, siskins and redpoll. Once these birds discover that you’re offering niger seed, they’ll be back again and again for more. Niger or Nyger seed (sometimes called thistle seed) is a popular ‘tonic’ food for birds and should be fed all year round. 

Usage: in hanging niger seed feeder. Please note that niger seeds are too fine for standard seed feeders, so must be fed from special feeders.
